The Autocoast Ti22 is based on the Mk1 chassis that rolled out at Laguna Seca in 1969 with driver Jackie Oliver. This car features Titanium axles, a Microcarbon 3D printed chassis and New Microcarbon Hybrid side-winder motor pod with a CG Slotcars 20k motor. Over 27 hours of 3D printing goes into one car!
The Ti22 ran the last races of the 1969 season and nearly won the first race of 1970, Gurney sneaking by when Oliver was blocked by a back-marker while leading. The car flipped and was destroyed in the second race and the crashed remains were stolen for scrap metal. More of the story can be found here: http://www.grandprixhistory.org/ti22.htm
